Para enero

So I was informed by one of my blogger friends that I better get on it and make a post for January. Here we go. I made the cut with a few days to spare. I would say this month has been pretty successful. We arrived back to Central America on the 2nd only to then pick up a team from my hometown on the 3rd. It was an awesome team and we had a great time. Not to shame any other team, but these guys knew how to work and work hard at that! They installed over 200 concrete drainage culverts in a matter of 3 and a half days. On top of that they installed them with excellence. I didn't dream that we would get so much done and so well. To all the guys back in LA, thank you for an awesome experience!

The guys also helped us move into our new house! This was a huge blessing. I think if it were just left up to me and whoever I found to help me, I would still be moving things from our old house. It was such a blessing to just have to unpack and go get little nick nacks of things. We are almost fully settled into our new house and just working on finding homes for our things. It is such a blessing this new house, it is 2x the size of our old one and $25 less a month in rent! It is also saving us a lot of money each month as it is a lot cooler and we can use fans instead of our air conditioner, so I think we will sell the air conditioner. So in so many ways it is such a blessing for us.

We have also been restoring order to things here at the site. Getting our payroll fixed up, employees insurance, etc... Our caretakers Diego & Fanny are doing great and God continues to do awesome things in their lives. Please keep praying for them. We will be meeting in these next couple of weeks in hopefully beginning an after school program that will launch in mid to the end of February. This will be exciting and will open more opportunity for the Gospel to penetrate into the lives of kids and families. So you can be praying for this as well.

I don't really have any pictures to share because our camera is in the states because we were having it fixed, plus I am uploading this post via cell phone internet because we don't have a land line in our house yet and the cell phone runs a little slower than the land line, but a lot cheaper! Lastly I would like for you guys to pray for a couple Bart & Heather, and their daughter Eden (I think I got her name right--- and I think she is 3 years old). They have joined us on staff with ATC and will be moving down here to work with us and oversee the remaining construction and maintenance of the facility. They need to sell their house in order to make their move, so join us in praying for the sale of their house. You can check out their blog at http://cartysgoingglobal.blogspot.com/ . NE HOW
