Estoy aqui

Well it has been a long long time since I last posted on my blog. A lot has happened since then, but there is no need to write about all that jazz. The egg stood up once again, but this time an exceptionally long time. We had a great Winter Solstice celebration with an egg standing for 3 full days! Good times--- I believe I will need some vacation time to central america after all this egg standing. Maybe I will just take the year off or something. Luckily I had my sidekick Sparky the Dalmation Christmas tree ornament to assist me in my dia del huevo celebraciones. I had fun and I think he did too. I kind of had a joint celebration along with el dia del huevo. It is a new holiday that I would like to call The Last Day of Work.
I had my last day of work last week. I am glad it is over, but I had a really good time these last 8 months and have learned a lot about life. It was a great season in life that the Lord taught me a lot about just glorifying Him. It is easy to understand (sometimes) in how your glorifying the Lord when you are working a full time job in a church or some type of ministry. But learning to glorify the Lord while you scrape termite poo out of a millionare's walls is a new chapter in life. I really have caught a glimpse into what it means to lift the Lord's name on high even in the simplest and mundane tasks of the day. It has been a real blessing. I will miss my co-workers and all the new things I learned each day on the job, but I know I will not miss the 5:30am wake up call and that 5 o'clock traffic coming from Highland road.
Well I better go and get ready--- im going out to eat with some friends tonight.
