Vamos a Indiana

We went out to eat the other night with our friends Ben & Brittani. They are doing the exact opposite of us in 2007. They are going 2600 miles North West and we are going 2600 miles south. I don't know when I will see them again... but I know the Lord will place us in each others path again. We all had fun, but the best part was when Ben decided to jump the fountains at the Shaw building. He didn't really have the timing down (he actually wasn't even close). The water droped down slightly and just as he went to jump the fountain it shot straight up soaking his pants. We all got a kick out of it--- so it forced us to go home and take in a little Nacho Libre. Till next time Ben & Britanni --- I heart you.

We left Louisiana on Thursday and headed to the random state of Indiana (sorry to all you native Indianians, it is just a odd state--- nothing personal). The drive wasn't bad at all, it took us about 12 hours and only 2 tanks of gas in the Corolla. I took the morning shift and got some good use out of my new iPod while Sarah slept. Then Sarah took over in the afternoon and then I drove the last couple of hours. I am glad I have a wife and I am glad she can drive! Twelve hours can become slightly tiring when it is a solo trip, not impossible--- but definately not pleasurable. Everything went great though--- we only had to stop 3 times, no speeding tickets, and the kids didn't cry at all the whole time. There was a sunset at the end of the trip so that was nice. We were the first ones of the family to get to Sarah's parents... the rest of the crew rolled in sometime in the middle of the night. I tried to wait up for them but then I just fell asleep. We had Christmas with the fam on Friday and it was a lot of fun.
