La sobrina

The rat race continues, but it is a fun race. Knowing that your are pouring your time and efforts into something eternal is better than I could imagine. The last few weeks we have had a lot of people from ATC here and next week we will have the board of directors. We are installing lighting, toilets, showers, sinks, etc... this week with a team from North Carolina. It has been cool getting to know them a little better as we had the opportunity to meet all of them when we were in Wilmington last May. The work on the main building continues, we are halfway up on the second floor and should be seeing ceiling joist on the second floor here soon. Continue to pray as the Lord develops our relationships with workers and contractors. Thank you guys who have been praying for us, we have felt encouraged and victorious over the last several weeks.
On the flip side, my sister had a baby yesterday. So Anna Kate, lo siento que no estuve alli, pero voy a conocerte este otono. So a little shout out to Joe and Jennifer. I wish we could have been there, but I was in the jungle. Hope you guys are doing good, we are praying for you. I will talk to you soon. Now you have something Jennifer that you can constantly write about on your blog. There will be no excuses accepted once your out of the hospital.
Well back to the rat race. God is good.

Your new niece is absolutely beautiful! We wish you could see and hold her. She is sooooo tiny! When we left the hospital she only weighed 4 lbs. 15 ounces! We went to the doctor for a check-up today and she is gaining weight---almost back to her birthweight. We don't know what you wrote on your blog in Spanish so send Jen and Joe an e-mail and translate your comment. They really wish you and Sarah could have been here for the birth and look forward to seeing you as soon as possible.

Sounds like ya'll have been really busy and are accomplishing much. We're very proud of you and pray for you often!
Love,
Mom
