El consejo

We are here on the home stretch. We have had 4 teams this summer and will having our last starting tomorrow. A team from Pensacola, FL will be arriving tomorrow. We are looking forward to making more friends and see what God wants to continue to do in all of our lives. We have been putting a good bit of work into a trail through the jungle that leads to about a 30ft waterfall. The trail is starting to really shape up. We have been etching steps in the mountain side and will continue working on those as well as installing handrails down the trail. When it is all finished the trail is going to be really nice. I took my parents and sister half way down this trail in its more primitive days. This is a picture of when I took it down. Maybe if I ever get back on my game I will get a camera and take some more recent pictures.

This weekend the ATC board of directors came down to see the progress of the facility and to reiterate the ATC vision. It has been an awesome weekend as we have had the opportunity to meet all the board members and understand their hearts. Our time with these guys has been very encouraging and refreshing. They understand the necessary "business" agenda, but on the flip side they welcome the Holy Spirit and embrace the heart of the Father for the nations. It has been very encouraging to know that these are the people who are behind the scenes leading ATC. Well That is what I have for now. We are looking forward to some down time here in about 2 weeks. Sarah's parents are coming down in August so we are looking forward to showing them our home down here.

Why didn't you make steps before your Mom went down that steep rain forest trail? We would like to see pictures of the new and improved ATC waterfall trail when you get it completed. Your niece is a tiny but beautiful child! She is winning over everybody's hearts, wish you were here.
