Las herramientas

So we now have been at our new home for over 1 week! I spent the weekend getting things organized and cleaned up. I pulled the seat covers off the truck seats and washed them. The water looked like Katrina flood waters in the 9th ward. Pretty sick--- but atleast the truck will smell a little better. So we are making some progress here. We have had several meetings with contractors, and I just had another meeting this morning. I think this one is going to work out--- the guy is real interested and has been very helpful already. I also have been getting to know our neighbors a little more. Our neighbor Johnny is pretty cool and can teach you a lot about the plants and animals. He is what we would consider a farm boy. His family kind of lives all natural--- its cool. It helps my spanish a lot to hang out with him because I learn real simple things and can build a vocabulary by doing so. On top of that he is a pretty smart kid--- I think we are going to have some cool times.

The other day he brought one of his little parrots over to show me, his dad actually caught this thing I guess when it was a baby.... maybe they will go catch me one--- FREE PETS! I also caught a glimps of a Tucan yesterday, and I didn't have to wake up at 6am! I was driving home from the project and a Tucan flew across the road--- it was kind of surreal. We also visited a church yesterday. We didn't get there until the end and then we roasted like the shish-ka-bobs that we had for lunch today. I think we are going to start just going to their Saturday night service when it isn't 15million celsius. Getting used to the metric system is different as well.... I don't really know how far anything is or how fast I am going or how hot it really is. I guess one day I will take the time to do the math.

Mr Yayson...I saw yous from the avocado tree in the jungle. You were on the road on the steep mountains where the roads was blocked. you stopped the car to check it out and I thought, "Oh! this is my chance to make him poo his pants"!! I saw Mr Panther right below me, so I jumped on his back and squeeezed as hard as I could..."RoAAAAR"!!! ye yelled so loud, and then I looked at you...hehe, you were so white! you looked straight this way and slowly made your way to the car....I told Mr Panther what I did and he laughed so hard!! ok, here's the thing...no, seriously, you said you gives some cabbages to my family, and I have no cabbages from you. Tomorrow morning I want some cabbages, or I make a deal with Mr Panther which you can't refuse.

Lauren--- will you settle for a hermit crab? I will try.

Haden--- I miss you too man. Are you ready to go kayaking, and shark hunting? I haven't seen any sharks, but my neighbor caught a fish.

Mikaela--- we miss being there with you guys. But I am sure Justin is doing a good job--- he is much more crazy than I am so it has to be fun.
