Que? Los Estados Unidos?

Ok so it is a done deal. We are off of American soil and will not be back for some time. It was an insane last couple of weeks but we made it and we have seen the Lord do some awesome things. We went to Wilmington, NC to spend some time with a church there and David Fuller. We had an awesome time and came out with some funny memories. It was good to get to meet the leader of the first team. He and his college group will be coming at the beginning of March an will be with us for a couple of weeks. We are looking forward to meeting everyone and making some new friends.

We have made a million+ preparations for the trip and it is good to know that now like 75% is done with. We still aren't at our house, we are actually in a hotel in the capital, but will be heading down to our new home in the morning! It is surreal-- normally you get here thinking in the back of your mind some type of time constraint-- not in our case. We have really seen the Lord work in many different ways. One specific way is that in the last days I have been asking the Lord to give us favor with men (something I picked up from Big Mike). From the selling of my truck, freezing of our cell phone plan making us not pay a $200 cancelation fee, to no problems with things being overweight on our flight today-- the Lord has surely had favor in much greater ways: life. These things just simply demonstrate how much He does care about us in our every day affairs. On top of that the Lord provided us with even more support in just the last few days--- Jehova-Jireh!

Wednesday night my parents threw us a "going-away" party. It was a lot of fun and crazy all at the time. Of course when can you have a normal party when Sherry Schoen is around--- especially when she has access to a pogo-stick. I think she may go pro--- thats why Mike married her. It is a really awesome feeling knowing that you are leaving with so many people praying for you and that you will always have a place where you will be loved--- that is becoming a rare find now. So now our adventure begins and I am sure I will have some very interesting, boring, unique, and odd things to write about in the year ahead. Let the games begin.

I is so glads you Americans is come to Ubita. I will watching you from my guava trees. We can be friens. You give to me some lettuce, or some good cabbages, and I will protect your house from the insects and the escorpiones. The sun is so delightful here, I likes getting a tan on the neighbors white wall. I tell you, this is a great place.
