Ya Voy

Well we made it back to Louisiana on Saturday, but just barely. We were about 10 minutes from the Salt Lake airport when my cell phone rings and it was American Airlines on the phone. They proceeded to let me know that our flight had been canceled and the next flight would not be until the next day at 8:30am. Jehova-Jireh, the lady was able to put us on a Continental flight that would be leaving later that afternoon and would be able to get us back to Baton Rouge. When we got to the airport the Continental people put us on the exact same flight back with my sister and brother-in-law. So everything worked out just right--- well except the part when we arrived in Baton Rouge and received one of Sarah's brand new pieces of luggage all torn up. But, the Lord took care of that as well (as if this is a suprise) and Continental is giving us money to buy another. Jehova-Jireh! The picture above doesn't really have any relevance, I just thought it looked cool. We went bowling in the ghetto last night with the youth from LifePoint, and one of the girls happened to be wearing some tight Converse sneakers.

I played an awesome round of "Ocean Hunter" with my brohim Michael last night. I have to say that Ocean Hunter is probably the dumbest game ever invented. So we have started the long list of good-byes. It is all happening extremely fast. This week we are working on storing, packing, and making one last trip to Wilmington, NC for a few days before we leave (Jan. 26th is our departure date to our new home). Things are crazy, but I am really excited about all the new things Sarah and I will be experiencing. We had our last Sunday at LifePoint yesterday--- it will be cool to see and hear all that God has done by the time we return. Well that is about all I have for now. I will leave you with a poem one of the youth at our church wrote me----

Hello Jason, How are you?
I'm bored & I bet you are too.
I guess I'm writing this to say hey,
and I needed a word that rhymed with fake hoolalay.
I'm gonna miss you whenever you move,
you always knew how to dance & to groove.
When you go to your new home, look for a tree,
and whenever you find it, think of me.
Think of that time when I made you that card,
and you probably though, "HAHA. what a retard!".
When you and Sarah move, I'll miss ya'll,
and just remember to give us a call.
----THANKS COURTNEY!

Jason, I was inspired by Courtney's poem and decided I needed to do one also. here goes nada

Jason and Sarah will go overseas
Down by the sunset, the beach, and the breeze
They'll meet Chancho, and Pedro, and Juana
They'll come across a grande iguana
No more malls, or restaurants, or plaza
Just a home, a small cozy casa
"They'll eat some bugs, they'll eat some grass
They'll use their hands to wipe their tears"
So, as you think of them and pray
Pray, pray they'll be okay
